The neighborhood is renowned for its vibrant Japanese community and a plethora of Japanese businesses. This research focuses on analyzing commercial signage in various establishments such as restaurants, shops, and cultural centers to understand the prevalence and context of language use. The study employs a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodologies to assess the degree of multilingualism, identifying the frequency and interaction of Japanese, German, English, and other Asian languages within the linguistic landscape. Findings reveal that Japanese is the most prevalent language, reflecting the significant Japanese-speaking population and the emphasis on cultural authenticity. German and English are also prominently used, indicating efforts to cater to local and international customers.
