At the same time, the human mind itself has become a new type of battlefield, turned into an extremely vulnerable target, in many respects more important for the war of the XXI century than factories or military installations, and into a weapon, because the fear and anger caused by propaganda can inflict quite real socio-economic and political damage. The author is aware that there is no simple way to reorient scientific knowledge and direct it exclusively to achieve the benefit of mankind, but a clear idea and formulation of the problem is the first step towards its solution.
